What task is greater than personal growth while in the adolescent & young adult phases of life? It emerges quite naturally as a focus during all my work with young people. Identity exploration, awareness of values and needs, and imagination are all cultivated as therapeutic pathways towards becoming more oneself!

I wrote my Master's thesis on the relationship between creativity, imagination, and personal growth. By utilizing a Jungian framework of 'active imagination', I show how personal growth can be obtained through creative expression.

Our own beliefs about ourselves, and our place in the world often hinder us from making positive changes. Fear of success, fear of failure, fear in general can keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns which we often can't distinguish from healthy ones. Sometimes we just get the feeling, 'Something is wrong with how I am living.' Growth and change start by simply giving it a voice.
