My Approach to Helping
I believe that the most important part of counseling is the relationship. I work from an Intersubjective perspective and integrate Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Equine Assisted Therapy to create safe and accepting relationships which foster growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold a masters degree in Marriage Couple and Family Counseling from George Fox University. My focus in graduate school was on Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.
I have specialty in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, the Core Values Index for relationships and individual potential, and EAGALA to work with horses in counseling individuals, families, and groups.
