My Approach

I work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life and specialize in trauma recovery, relief from anxiety and depression, and personal and creative growth and development. My practice is an affirmative space for LGBTQIPK folks, artists, healers, highly sensitive individuals, and social justice workers. My approach is strengths based, creative, and collaborative and I bring a spirit of playfulness, joy, and humor to our work together. I offer a safe environment for those seeking to heal from traumas, including internalized oppressions, and provide support to those desiring to explore and expand their capacity to experience joy, pleasure, and wellness.

My Background

I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and a BA from Brown University. I completed my clinical internship in Mental Health Services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and served as a clinician working with youth and families in a residential setting at Hathaway Sycamores Child and Family Services. In addition to my clinical work, I have a background in social justice, farming, and collective and community organizing. I am committed to building a more just and equitable world and this commitment informs my clinical work and perspective as a therapist. I see the individual as impacted by both unique personal experiences as well as societal systems of privilege and oppression. In our work together I will attend to your personal experience navigating these multiple realms, and explore their impact on an emotional, cognitive, and somatic level.
