My Ideal Client

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where every part of you is welcome, the parts you know and like and those parts that you may keep hidden. Asking for help is not easy. The most courageous step you can take toward your own healing and emotional well-being is seeking support. You don't have to experience sadness, anxiety, trauma, anger, or loss on your own. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, transitions, trauma, relationship issues to name a few.

How I Can Help You

We have all experienced the recent changes in our lives at an unprecedented speed with very little warning that has resulted in chaos, increased stress and difficult decisions and changes we never thought we would have to make. It can feel overwhelming--but it doesn't have to. If you have experienced trauma, whether recurring or as an isolated incident, even the typical stresses of a normal day can provoke anxiety, fear, anger, or withdrawal. Work burn-out, "life during a pandemic" are pressing issues for many. Luckily, therapy can provide you tools to deal with life's challenges, enabling you to minimize your stress levels and continue your personal growth. I provide Clinical supervision: we will cover complex cases how to deal with ethical issues or dilemmas and gain a better understanding of how to navigate the system in which you work in.

My Values as a Therapist

I have 21-years experience working as a clinician. Therapy: I will guide you in coping , mindfulness and acceptance. I draw from evidence-based treatment modalities, short-term, solution-focused therapy. We can explore how experiences of race, gender, sexuality, ability, and other identities impact us. I work to create an affirming space in which to examine all of your various identities, including racial, spiritual, sexual, and gender diversity. Black Lives Matter: Clinicians across the nation have prioritized social justice issues and the impact on our communities and BIPOC individuals or families.
