My Approach to Helping

I want to help you feel calm, confident, and able to cope with life's challenges. Let's build a therapy space that has room for you to grow and explore who you want to be. I know what it's like to have a therapist that doesn't get me. That's why I want to work together to make a space where you get to feel heard, cared for, and understood. I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I've worked in the field for over 10 years. I participate in a consultation group for BIPOC clinicians and I've participated in multiple trainings for working with queer and trans people. My Values as a Therapist

I value the open-ended and unconditional positive regard that therapy can provide given that it's often not available in our daily lives.. As a therapist I believe that the biggest part of my job is making sure that I have the capacity to be a human and also hold clients in a caring and humanistic way. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow when given the right circumstances and therapy is where we create those circumstances- offering openness and non-judgement. This curated space will lead to seeing what's true for you and help you thrive.
