My Ideal Client

I work with adults healing from trauma, attachment difficulties, and painful relationship patterns, as well as those navigating spiritual emergencies, spiritual trauma, and psychedelic integration. Together, we make space for what has long been unspoken to be felt and understood.

Our Background and Approach

My path began when I discovered Jung’s Memories, Dreams, Reflections, which sparked a lifelong fascination with the psyche. This led me to earn my PsyD at George Washington University, complete postdoctoral training at Cornell, and devote my career to helping people heal and live with greater depth and meaning. I am trained in multiple approaches, including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Janina Fisher), Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, and IFS — the latter being a method I’m particularly fond of for its depth, power, and comprehensive nature.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

While my formal training followed a traditional route in clinical psychology and trauma-based approaches, I’ve spent the past decade deeply immersed in Jungian and depth psychology. This allows me to offer both a clinical lens—grounded in trauma, attachment, and personality dynamics—and a depth-oriented lens that attends to the deeper currents of the unconscious, archetypal patterns, and transpersonal realms.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

I’m trained in IFS and use it to help clients work compassionately with all parts of themselves, fostering healing, integration, and inner harmony.

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) External link

AEDP supports deep emotional processing in the safety of the therapeutic relationship, helping clients transform pain into resilience and connection.

  • Depth Therapy External link

Rooted in Jungian analytic work, this approach explores the personal and collective unconscious — archetypes, symbols, and mythic themes that shape our lives. We may begin by working with dreams, where the unconscious speaks in its native language of image and symbol, offering guidance for healing and wholeness.

  • Psychodynamic  External link

Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape present feelings, relationships, and choices. By bringing these dynamics into awareness, we create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others, fostering insight, emotional freedom, and lasting change.

  • Transpersonal External link

Transpersonal therapy explores expanded states of consciousness and the deeper layers of the psyche, including ancestral and collective memories, archetypal imagery, and universal patterns. The work supports integrating these experiences into daily life in a grounded and meaningful way.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • PTSD External link

I help clients process and heal from single-event and complex trauma, integrating somatic, relational, and depth approaches to restore a sense of safety and wholeness.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I support clients in understanding and shifting painful dynamics, fostering healthier boundaries, communication, and emotional intimacy.

  • Spirituality External link

I work with clients exploring spiritual growth, meaning, and connection, as well as those navigating spiritual challenges, emergencies, spiritual abuse, and cult recovery. Our work honors both the psychological and transpersonal dimensions of your journey.

  • Self-Esteem External link

I help clients develop a more compassionate and grounded sense of self, working through self-criticism, shame, and limiting beliefs to foster confidence, self-acceptance, and inner trust.

  • Sexual Abuse External link

I offer a safe, supportive space for survivors of sexual abuse and assault to process their experiences, release the burdens of trauma, and reconnect with a sense of safety, trust, and belonging in themselves and in relationships.
