My Ideal Client

My clients are often thoughtful, sensitive, and self-aware people who may feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the impact of past trauma. Many are seeking more than coping skills — they want deep healing and a way to feel more whole, alive, and at home in themselves.

Our Background and Approach

My path began in psychodynamic training, filled with elegant theories about the mind. But it became clear that theories alone couldn’t meet the raw pain and struggles my clients were facing. Over time, I trained in many approaches — psychodynamic, Jungian, trauma-based, somatic, neurobiological. Each offered something, but none felt truly healing. Internal Family Systems (IFS) did. It’s the approach I’ve committed my practice to because it’s been consistently effective and truly transformative.

My Approach to Helping

We’ll begin by relationally attuning to you and building connection. When the relationship feels safe, we can move toward deeper IFS healing work. Sessions are experiential — turning inward to access a deeper state of presence. From there, we approach the parts of you that carry pain with acceptance, guide them through release, and then focus on integrating new ways of being so that healing continues beyond the session and into daily life.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

My primary orientation is Internal Family Systems (IFS), a respectful and transformative approach that helps clients access their inner resources and heal old wounds with compassion.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • PTSD External link

I help clients process and heal from single-event and complex trauma by using IFS, which gently supports the parts of you still carrying the impact of what happened.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I support clients in understanding and shifting painful dynamics, fostering healthier boundaries, communication, and emotional intimacy.

  • Spirituality External link

I work with clients exploring spiritual growth, meaning, and connection, as well as those navigating spiritual challenges, emergencies, spiritual trauma, and cult recovery. Our work honors both the psychological and transpersonal dimensions of your journey.

  • Self-Esteem External link

I help clients develop a more compassionate and grounded sense of self, working through self-criticism, shame, and limiting beliefs to foster confidence, self-acceptance, and inner trust.

  • Sexual Abuse External link

I offer a safe, supportive space for survivors of sexual abuse and assault to process their experiences, release the burdens of trauma, and reconnect with a sense of safety, trust, and belonging in themselves and in relationships.
