My Ideal Client

You might be finding yourself in the middle of a life transition you didn’t plan for — or didn’t expect to be this overwhelming. Maybe you’re navigating a role shift, grieving a loved one, adjusting to a chronic illness, or quietly carrying anxiety or depression that’s become heavier over time. On the outside, you’re functioning. On the inside, you may feel overwhelmed, untethered, or unsure who you are in this new chapter.

My Approach to Helping

By examining our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, we can better understand whether our responses are helpful, accurate, and aligned with our values. I believe deeply in the connection between mind and body, and I encourage clients to explore how their thoughts and feelings impact their physical experience—and how their bodies, in turn, influence their emotional lives. Through this process, you will develop greater awareness of what feels true and authentic to you. With that awareness, you can begin making intentional choices that reflect who you are and who you want to become. This clarity also creates space to release patterns, beliefs, or behaviors that no longer serve you. In our work together, we will focus on supporting meaningful change aligned with your goals while cultivating the tools and insight needed to engage with your life in healthier, more grounded ways.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in genuine connection, respect, and openness. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where people from all walks of life feel welcomed and understood. I deeply value and respect all cultures, races, genders, religions, and sexual orientations, and I am committed to affirming and culturally responsive care. Humor can be an incredibly powerful coping skill, and when appropriate, I welcome it into the therapy room as a way to build resilience and perspective. In addition to my private practice, I work in oncology, supporting individuals navigating complex medical and emotional experiences. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, painting, working in charcoal, and spending time with my dog, Jasper—who may occasionally make a gentle appearance during online sessions.
