My Ideal Client

My preferred age range is 16 - 30. My work with clients has involved treating mood disorders and addressing identity concerns. My clients have been new to counseling or have returned to therapy, and are motivated to move forward. This is a time when you are figuring out who you want to be.

My Background

I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from New York University. In my graduate program, I interned at a medical hospital and in the acute unit of a children's in-patient psychiatric center. In 1992, I began practicing as a therapist at an out-patient clinic in New York, where I lived for eleven years. Since that time, I have lived in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. I have worked in other mental health settings and have taken hiatuses to work in other fields and raise a family.
