My Ideal Client

I support high-achieving students, educators, and professionals who look put-together, but underneath feel spread thin and disconnected. We might be a good fit if you are Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, first generation, or queer. I provide neurodiversity-affirming care to clients with autism, ADHD, and other identities, and especially enjoy working with adult children of immigrants hoping to explore their intersecting identities and heal generational trauma.

My Approach to Helping

I'm a board nationally certified counselor with over five years of experience providing counseling services to students in educational settings. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative, all while holding you accountable to the reasons you're seeking therapy. I’m grounded in a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, thoughtfully blending mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and an awareness of the mind-body connection to support your unique needs. Don't be surprised if we laugh during our sessions, because even in the most tender moments of therapy, a little humor helps us breathe through the hard stuff and stay human together. Therapy with me often feels like working on a puzzle: we find the pieces you've overlooked or avoided, and together, we begin to make sense of the bigger picture. We'll gently untangle what feels heavy, what energizes you, and what patterns keep you weighed down, guiding you toward a life that feels more present, satisfying, and meaningful.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist of color and former public educator, I understand how institutions and systems shape our lives in both seen and unseen ways. I believe in the power of community to rise above oppressive structures—and I see therapy as part of that community. As a healer, I hold a deep responsibility not only to support individual healing, but also to advocate for the liberation and upliftment of communities whose voices have too often been silenced. I specialize in supporting those who are passionate about caring for others but don’t always receive that same care in return. The ones who go above and beyond at work, in school, or in their relationships—yet struggle to make time for themselves, and when they do, rest doesn’t come easy. Put simply, I help folx navigate a world that never turns off, reminding them that it’s okay to pause. Because when they do, they begin to build lives that feel more present, fulfilling, and meaningful. No more running on empty—it’s time to fill your cup.
