Our ideal client is an individual who is seeking change to better their life and actively willing to collaborate with their therapist in order to see that change through. I personally work well with adolescent males adults of all genders and couples. I integrate Gottman and attachment theory when working with couples. I work with males with sexual addictions and couples who are having sexual problems in their relationship.
I work with couples also who have trauma, especially involving sexual addiction and/or infidelity. I believe couples can not only recover from it, but grow to be stronger through it.
I use Gottman as well as EFT with couples
I have training in Gottman and have been working with couples since 2010. I integrate Gottman and attachment theory in my work with couples.
I have been working with especially men concerning sexual addictions since 2004 and was mentored by somebody who has over 30 years experience.
My dissertation was on integration of families during domestic violence intervention. I helped to initiate and direct a domestic violence intervention program in Eugene. Currently I work with couples and indivuals who are either victims or perpetrators of domestic violence or both. I also work with couples where there has been incidental domestic violence, but not cycles of violence.
