My Approach to Helping

The hardest part of this process is often taking the first step toward healing; because of that, I am genuinely glad you are here. I approach therapy with warmth and curiosity. As a therapist, I believe that with the right tools, and occasional guidance, we all have the capacity to thrive. I use a client-centered approach, letting you guide our journey; and I bring in cognitive-behavioral techniques to give you concrete take-aways to implement outside of session. We will focus on implementing small changes in approachable intervals to better serve your overall wellbeing. I am trained through Postpartum Support International, the gold-standard.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don’t believe there is a “one size fits all” approach when it comes to therapy. For that reason I like to explore options with each client and adjust as needed. I can lead the sessions and challenge you, or I can be more of a listening ear and sounding board. We will discuss what works best for you. This is your time, my role is to be here for you.
