My relational approach includes helping create a safe place in which you feel like you can start working towards being the best version of your self. I draw from a multitude of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Nuerobiology (IPNB), Mindfulness, and specific modalities from attachment and family systems theories.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience treating adolescents, families, and adults. I have my Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program and I seek ongoing training opportunities to expand my skill set to provide the most current and applicable treatment methods. I am a licensed clinical therapist as a Sexual Offender Treatment Provider for Oregon and specialize in adolescents who have sexually offended.

  • Mindfulness-based External link

    Mindfulness practice advances self awareness and insight into how your emotions affect and often dis-regulate your body. Mindfulness is helpful by slowing down impulsive and reactionary behavior so that the person practicing these techniques can feel well grounded and in control of their emotions.

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) allows us to explore the connection between your feelings, thoughts, and behavior and also how they influence your day to day patterns and experiences. CBT provides us with skills to learn and work with to change these patterns into a different way of thinking and experiencing your emotions. This is especially helpful with teaching skills and personal growth.
