I work with people of all ages but I have specialized training with children and families. I believe that people have all the strength, wisdom and creativity they need for healing, growth and learning and like seeds in fertile soil, it can activate with a nurturing space and proper care.
This evidence-based practice is among the most effective tools in overcoming emotional challenges that impact people of all ages.
This approach includes transformative skills training to empower people of all ages to regulate their feelings and control their behaviors in ways that promote wellness and success in every aspect of their lives.
I provide a wide range of expressive arts therapy options (including Sandplay therapy) for people of all ages who are dealing with loss, grief, PTSD, trauma, chronic illness, relational (couples/family) conflict and more.
The word "eclectic" refers to a multi-faceted approach that includes a wide range of evidence-based modalities. I have training in couples/family counseling, solution/short term therapy, play therapy, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy and the Expressive Arts Therapies.
I have specialized training to support children and families in the home and school setting to support children on the autism spectrum (including Aspergers). I provide counseling and social/emotional skills training to help children and adults with relationship/social challenges. l also advocate for academic supports (IEP, 504) in school settings.
I have training to support people who have experienced trauma and who experience symptoms of PTSD or other trauma-related challenges.
I have a wide range of evidence-based approaches to help people of all ages manage or overcome symptoms of anxeity.
I have specialized training to support families in conflict.
