My Ideal Client

My clients come with a desire for support in areas of anxiety, depression, historical trauma, relationship challenges, identity formation, personal growth, disordered eating, and body image concerns. I have a passion for and expertise in working with teens, young adults, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also offer family therapy and parent coaching, and would love to come alongside your family to assist in your journey toward more sustainable dynamics.

My Approach to Helping

Therapy with me is a judgement-free place that can help you gain perspective and understanding of your emotions, historical ways of coping, and relationship patterns. Regardless of your age, therapy is a healing relationship, not a quick fix. I focus on connection as a tool for helping you make practical changes, at your pace, and in a way that feels congruent to you. I take a Client-Centered approach to therapy, while drawing upon insights from Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I aim to create an environment supportive to people with all body sizes/shapes, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, races and ethnicities, and religious affiliations. I am committed to anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and anti-diet, work in my life and in the therapy room. I am constantly learning how to continuously do better here and am open to your feedback! I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. I offer years of experience working with adults and adolescents at the inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, coming to Portland in 2016. I feel so much gratitude for the greenery of Oregon, and try to get outside with my partner and pup any chance I get. I love the food scene in Portland, and make a point of trying new restaurants often. I love watching (Dodger) baseball, learning about new things, gardening, and embracing my creativity through art and design.
