My Ideal Client

As a queer, non-binary person with ADHD, I am passionate about supporting these communities. Because of my personal experience with chronic pain, invisible disability, spiritual abuse, and high control groups or cults, I love helping people through these life experiences as well. I am happy to support you through personal growth, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, finding more purpose, + through periods of transformation. You are worthy of healing + change. You deserve to be happy.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is compassionate, warm, relaxed, client-centered, and solution focused. Life is hard; I am here to support you in better connecting to yourself and others. I am trauma informed, non-judgmental, and body + fat positive. I am honored to hear your story. I am here to help you grow and live a fulfilling life! I believe whole heartedly in the potential for humans to heal, while also deeply understanding the complexity of the systemic barriers that many of us face. I am honored to hear your story and be a supportive person in your life. Together, we can create a space that is safe, nurturing, and honest. I aim to forge a connection of deep trust where you feel you can be or become your full self. I love animals, flowers, and helping you thrive. Don't hesitate to reach out, I am here for you!

My Values as a Therapist

As a queer and non binary person who has been in queer community for over twenty years, I value supporting the folks in my community. I value gender diversity in all forms and all the colors of the rainbow. I believe in equity over equality and I strive to create the type of world I want to live in. I have worked with books to prisoners, created free school programs, and am always educating myself on how to be a good neighbor. I am anti cancel culture but deeply committed to social justice. I live in the nuanced spaces, not the dogmatic. I love humanity, even when all seems dire, I just love people, I.love connecting, and caring. I love love. I value creativity and art. I believe mental health is for everyone. I will always stop to pet a dog. I am committed as a counselor to showing up fully, to being present, having a laugh if you want one, and to creating a space of care for you to heal, grow, or just be yourself in.
