My Ideal Client

Based on my professional experience working with clients with panic disorders and my personal experience dealing with and managing my own anxiety, treating this condition can help you gain control of your fears and anxiety. Reach out to Guided Telepsychiatry Services either via email cheadley@guidedtelepsychiatryservices.com or text call my cell 470-831-4587 I typically respond in 24 hrs

My Approach to Helping

My approach to your care will always be collaborative. Through my training/experience I Aim to provide the best available options specific to your situation. In regards to prescribing controlled substances under normal non emergency(Pre-COVID)situations the prescription of these drugs are more strictly regulated. At this time the future of telehealth and prescription of controlled substances is uncertain. As a result prescription of these agents are last resort and typically for short-term. It is important for me to be accessible to my clients so I offer appts including morning, afternoon & evening telepsychiatry appts. I value my current/future clients time thus there is 24 hour prior to session to cancel to avoid fees. What to expect your first session: Through my HIPPA Compliant telepsychiatry platform I provide video conferencing in your personal space. Accessible via your computer, tablet and phone, with the goal to support you in achieving optimum mental health wellness

Why I Became a Therapist

I received an Associate Degree (AS) in Nursing in 2006 from Nassau Community College in New York. After graduation, I was employed as a critical care nurse at an acute care hospital in Florida, and then later as an in-patient psychiatric nurse at another acute care facilty. It was here that I discovered this passion for working in the mental health field. I obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2009 and continued as a psychiatric nurse until I graduated from Hunter College in New York City in 2014, where I earned a Master of Science (MS) in Nursing with a specialization in mental health nursing. Since completing my master’s degree, I have worked as a psychiatric consultant and an out-patient psychiatric provider in New York. I have also been employed as a consulting liaison performing psychiatric consulting on patients in medical wards, and an in-patient house psychiatric provider in New York and Georgia.

Specialties

  • Medication Management External link

If your Initial evaluation @ $250 indicates a medication regimen is necessary to help control or eliminate the symptoms you are experiencing, your follow-up appointments @ $150, which last for 30 minutes, will typically be for medication management where I assess if the medication regimen is helping, or perhaps needs to be altered. This is the time to discuss questions or concerns you have about your treatment plan. lab work may be required for ongoing care to ensure levels are therapeutic
