Are you an anxious mama navigating the motherhood journey? When my clients first come in, they feel like they are not good enough. They feel guilty about not loving every moment of motherhood and are white knuckle grasping to try to control every aspect of their lives because the anxiety is taking over. You deserve to feel at peace and confident as a mother. You deserve to go about your day knowing you’re good enough. All the time. No matter what.
In working with clients that have experienced trauma that is impacting their lives, I will utilize EMDR as an intervention to allow reprocessing. I have completed Part I & II EMDRIA EMDR trainings.
By helping clients develop a mindfulness practice, I assist in creating sustainable and lasting change grounded in awareness.
I work from a cognitive behavioral model to challenge unhelpful patterns and create new ways of coping with the challenges you are facing.
Trained in part one and part two ACT training to work with our thoughts, how we respond to the situations and elements of our lives that we may not be able to change.
I have completed Parts I & II EMDRIA EMDR training and utilize this intervention in my practice to assist clients in reprocessing trauma memories to be able to move forward in their lives while honoring their experiences.
Mom-ing is hard. That’s the truth. It’s the anxious spiraling thoughts, the heart pounding deep pit in your stomach and the constant need to control all the things that are constantly taking from you. Working with a therapist can really help you to identify the areas that are creating your anxiety, and give you tools and strategies to manage it effectively.
Anxiety doesn't have to be what drives you to get sh*t done. You will learn what really matters to you and put your energy into the places where it counts. We’ll find the areas that bring healthy motivation for you and identify the patterns and fuel that are not serving you.
