Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I specialize in helping adults improve their relationships with themselves and others. I offer proactive and collaborative individual counseling to help you move beyond negative self-beliefs, insecurities, and past traumas so you can feel more free, confident, and alive.

In my practice I support people with issues relating to: anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, codependency, extreme empathy, self-judgement, spiritual abuse (cult) recovery, trauma, grief, and relationship dissatisfaction. In addition to being a therapist, I also have experience working with a number of social justice causes. As a result, I hold an anti-oppressive framework and strive to be culturally humble, anti-racist, trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming in my practice. I see you as the authority on your experience and will work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals on your terms. I support my clients to cultivate self-compassion, develop healthy coping skills, learn effective communication tools, and build confidence to change patterns and heal.
I completed my Master's in Social Work from New York University in 2012. I have over 8 years of direct clinical experience working with adults. I have training and experience using EMDR and brainspotting for trauma treatment. I also incorporate mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion-focused therapy, nonviolent communication skills, and traditional talk therapy techniques. I will tailor our work together to best meet your individual needs. Please reach out for a free consultation if you'd like to explore working together. At this time, due to COVID-19, all of my appointments are offered through telehealth only.
