My Approach

I borrow the strengths and wisdom of many sources and theories while grounding my work in the latest science and evidence based practices. We will work together to uncover the roots of your suffering while building on the strengths you already possess. I see my role as two-sided. I carry a deep sense of compassion for people that are struggling, and will support you and accept you as you are. At the same time, I compare myself to a personal trainer, and I will encourage you to do one more mental 'push up', to dig into your core identity, to deepen your growth and strengthen your mental and emotional muscles. You are capable of so much.

My Background

I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I have worked primarily with men on a variety of issues since 1997, though I also have experience working with women and couples. I highly value lifelong learning, so I am constantly incorporating what I gain from lectures and journals into my practice.
