My Approach

I generally like to provide brief CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) or Supportive therapy during medication management appointments based on each patient's individual needs but mostly focus on psychopharmacology.

My Background

I earned my medical degree from New York Medical College, in Valhalla, NY. I also received medical training via Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, México, where I became a more well-rounded physician by helping provide care to underserved areas. After training at New Your Medical College, I completed a Family Medicine Internship at University of Connecticut and afterwards went on to complete my Psychiatry Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle,WA. I served as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center in Seattle, WA during my last year of residency. I am currently Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I also have Buprenorphine license.
