My Approach to Helping

As a therapist I am passionate about the exploration of how identity is formed within our relationships. Whether this be between family members, partners, co-workers or the therapist, our understanding of ourselves is shaped within the context of these relationships. It is my goal to help you learn how to show-up in the world as your authentic self and explore patterns of relating to others. I provide a safe, compassionate and creative atmosphere for us to discover ways for you to feel understood. My approach is warm, humorous and relatable. I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all persons and to exploring my awareness of my own privilege as a white cis-woman. Within my work I have a deep understanding of how systemic issues impact a person’s mental health and sense of self, therefore I strive to be a safe therapeutic professional for folks in the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

When I’m not being a therapist I am usually hiking with my two dogs, attempting a new knitting pattern, trying out fun restaurants, and spending time with family.
