Marriage Family Therapist Intern

Struggle is universal. Through sharing our experiences with one another we’re able to make meaning, conquer shame, and feel connected. As a therapist I respect your strength and vulnerability, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to express your truth, explore, and heal.

My Approach

I work primarily from the Internal Family Systems model, which engages both client and therapist's innate capacities for courage and compassion as tools for transformation. My work is also informed by several other approaches; since therapy is a little different for everyone, we'll figure out what fits best for you. I have experience working with people from all walks of life. I really enjoy working with individuals and couples, especially around issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, personal growth, life transitions, relational conflict, communication, sexual difficulties, and societal oppression/equity. I am LGBTQ affirming and love working with LGBTQ couples and Trans folk.

My Background

I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Rights from the University of California Berkeley. I went on to earn my MA in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College, where I focused on Sex Therapy, Couples Therapy, and social equity. I am currently a LMFT Registered Intern supervised by Morgan Fitz Gibbon, LMFT.
