I work well with humans who are ready to shift things in themselves, their relationships and their families. I believe that great change is possible through learning to listen to our bodies, to the ways we relate to others and recognizing patterns in our thoughts and behaviors. To be willing to step towards what may be daunting and unknown, yet may be liberating and holding for you is courageous and essential for self-work and growth.
Specialties
I have worked with many individuals on ways to nourish their inner development and learn to listen to their callings in life. For this work, I draw from my experiences in the wilderness and with the Animas Valley Institute. I believe that if we learn to hear who we really, really are, that so much in life become clear and simple in this complex web we live in today.
I enjoy working with children and families to find ways to communicate more clearly, work together to support growth and navigate challenging times. I have spend a significant amount of time with adolescents, both individually and with their families to find pathways towards healthy and sustainable living in the relationships to themselves and the world around them.
I work with families and individuals to explore the gender spectrum in support of exploration with who we are as unique human beings and how to navigate systems: society's idea of who we are (binary polarities) and other essential areas. Stepping into who you are and living (safely) from that place, is sometimes a delicate balance - and, in my eyes, essential to being home in ourselves.
When our relationships are in a state of chaos it can overturn your entire life. When we can commit to working on ourselves and open to healing the relationship - much can be done to calm the waters and invite safety and connection in again. I work with all kinds of relationships, and strive to help people build strong, resilient, healthy ways of being together.
I specialize in working with the body and mind to heal trauma. Using various tools, we can de-code the nervous system's language so that you can understand better the ways to support your healing. Post-Traumatic Stress is something that can be very daunting, but can definitely transform to allow for resiliency and growth.
