My Ideal Client

I specialize in therapy with individuals & their loved ones experiencing mental health challenges during the perinatal period - this includes while trying to conceive, pregnancy, & postpartum. We experience the most drastic biological & emotional changes of our lives during this time, & these changes can be shocking, scary, confusing, & overwhelming. You deserve a space for processing & healing as you navigate life's most significant transition into parenthood.

My Background and Approach

My therapy style is collaborative & flexible, tailored to the preferences of you as the client. I approach all individuals through a trauma and attachment lens, & find it deeply beneficial to explore how our pasts shape the way we navigate the present. I offer reflection & alternative perspectives to help you approach challenges in new ways. I invite you to include your loved ones in our sessions, as I believe healing happens as a family/community. I have been working in the mental health field since 2016, and running my own business since 2021. My clinical history includes integrated behavioral health care in a midwife/OBGYN clinic, trauma-focused therapy, individual and group therapy with immigrants and survivors of domestic violence, therapy and case management with houseless individuals, and extensive experiencing performing psychological evaluations for immigration cases.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is rooted in my social justice philosophies– all human beings deserve access to quality mental health care; all human beings deserve a safe space to be vulnerable and honest; all human beings deserve time dedicated to healing from the inherent challenges/trauma of everyday life. I believe that societal healing depends first on the healing of the individual. My practice welcomes individuals of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.
