I believe that every individual seeking mental health services deserves to not only have a provider that is knowledgeable in psychiatry, but also someone passionate about providing mental health care and improving the lives of others. I am dedicated to helping you piece your life back together so that you can feel whole again. I am here to assist you in becoming the best version of yourself, even if you cannot recognize or remember what that entails. I am here to increase the knowledge of mental health, spread awareness, and alienate the stigma associated with it by making a substantial difference in your community.

Felicia Turner has been a Mental Health Registered Nurse since 2010. She initially obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida. She then continued her education with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner in psychiatry. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona in 2013. She then graduated with her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky in 2016. She was then Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center to practice as a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida. In 2020, Felicia Turner became licensed to practice as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, and Montana and established her multistate private practice Gifted Behavioral Health LLC.

    I understand there is a stigma associated with taking medications, but I assure you that for every individual medication has its place. Medication and therapy are often times the best forms of treatment for mental health symptoms. Medication helps block the negative symptoms associated with symptoms of increased sadness, sleeping issues, excessive worry, mood changes, or decreased concentration.

    Experienced in diagnosing various forms of anxiety that can be difficult to throughout your everyday life. There is generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, testing anxiety, performance anxiety, and phobias. I have treated this disorder with preventative medications that PREVENT the symptoms from occurring and alleviating medications that ALLEVIATE the associated symptoms in minutes.

  • Bipolar External link

    No one likes to be diagnosed with a severe-debilitating mental illness, but with appropriate treatment there can be limited to no symptoms at all. I do not necessarily treat disorders, I treat the symptoms with medications that are prescribed based on an individual's needs.

  • ADHD External link

    Experienced in diagnosing various types of attention-deficit disorders in children, adolescents, and adults with various forms of medication assisted treatment. These medications are prescribed based on an individuals needs and goals. It can help for parts of the day, most of the day, or even 24-hours a day. Can be prescribed as a chewable, liquid, or tablet medication.

    With therapy and medications you can live a fulfilling like. Medications help with managing the burden and heaviness of the everyday feelings of sadness, hopelessness, tiredness, and lack of motivation.
