My Approach

My counseling approach is holistic and informed primarily through an attachment-based perspective, where relationship building, communication, and emotional expression lie at the foundation. I believe in creating an environment where clients feel safe and comfortable in expressing themselves, while receiving support and guidance to work towards collaborative goals and change. As a therapist, I hold a safe and compassionate space for each client, so that they feel held and supported in a way that allows them to create their own profound transformation. All people are capable of change.

My Background

My work is mainly focused on supporting children and their families in an individually tailored way, to promote and foster the growth and changes your unique family is seeking. My previous occupations have included community mental health centers, schools, clinical day treatment, and national crisis support. I received my Master's degree in Professional Mental Health from Lewis and Clark and my Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Washington.
