Practicing Since: 2023
I specialize in working with adults, new parents and women in their postpartum journey. Many of my clients are looking for greater embodiment, more vitality and wholeness in their lives. I also work with adult clients who are experiencing ecological depression caused by climate change and climate anxiety.
Specialties
I offer experiential outdoor therapy in the form of "walk and talks" at local parks throughout the Portland metro area. We meet outdoors for the 50 minute session and invite the natural world into our frame of reference. Having our bodies in movement outdoors is inherently healing and can be a practice of regulating and grounding that can be taken into the clients everyday life.
Specialties
I'm currently registered for an Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training taking place in Feb. 2025.
Ecological grief and climate anxiety are two very real stressors that contribute to many peoples experiences of the natural world today. It can be debilitating and stressful to work on these existential issues alone. I'm very passionate about this work. I've received eco-therapy training as part of my graduate studies at Lewis and Clark college and am currently part of Dr. Thomas Doherty's cohort workshop on "Eco and Climate Therapy Consult Group Training course."
