My Ideal Client

I love to help individual adults identify and remove obstacles from their personal fulfillment and growth. Whether you’re navigating challenges in personal relationships, grief and loss, work-related stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, the emotional impacts of trauma, or the constellations of symptoms often labeled as “depression” or “anxiety,” I honor your individuality and tailor my person-centered approach to meet your unique needs.

My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that I’m a fellow traveler on your journey, not an all-knowing expert. I take a person-centered approach, creating a space where you can express yourself freely and feel truly seen and accepted without judgment. I believe in meeting you where you are, allowing your unique needs and experiences to guide our work together. I am also trained in the Flash Technique (FT), an evidence-based therapy that quickly alleviates distress from traumatic memories. Unlike traditional trauma therapies, FT is minimally intrusive and doesn't require reliving the trauma, making healing possible with minimal emotional discomfort.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I believe, as Socrates said, “the unexamined life is not worth living.” We all carry stories, wounds, and beliefs that shape how we move through the world, often without realizing it. Therapy creates space to pause, reflect, and examine those inner narratives.
