My Background and Approach
I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and have been in professional counseling practice since 2012. I am licensed in both Washington and Oregon and have additional national credentials as an approved supervisor, board-certified tele-mental health provider, and certified counselor. I am a generalist counselor who can assist clients with a wide range of issues. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, men and parenting, cultural identity issues, life adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD. I approach counseling from a blended lens of solutions-focused and acceptance and commitment therapy. I aim to make counseling as helpful as possible for my clients while assisting them in developing a flexible approach to life.
