My Approach to Helping

My approach is warm and person-centered, blending talk therapy with creative and experiential methods, such as expressive arts, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and mindfulness. My goal is to help you or your child move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being. I bring over eight years of experience in mental health and school counseling. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor, and a Licensed School Counselor. In addition, I have specialized training in expressive arts therapy, synergetic play therapy, and sand tray.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the potential to thrive, and that therapy can be a powerful catalyst for change. Like you, I’ve walked a similar journey. I experienced childhood anxiety and was diagnosed with ADHD, autism, and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) as an adult. Ultimately, I believe that my neurodiverse experience enables me to empathize deeply with clients who face their own unique challenges, and I view it as a valuable asset in understanding the human mind with greater nuance and compassion.
