My Ideal Client

I believe all individuals have strengths and the capacity to meet their full potential. My main approach is to provide a safe and secure environment for clients to process feelings and learn to manage emotions and behaviors. I incorporate play, art, sandtray, and symbolism to aid in the therapeutic process. My therapy dog, Daisy, is present one day a week and is used for animal assisted therapy.

My Background

I have a Bachelors degree from Western Oregon University and aMasters degree from George Fox University in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been practicing as a counselor for almost 20 years. I am also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor. I hold a certification in Animal Assisted Human Health and Play Therapy.
