My Approach to Helping

By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, including somatic practices and parts work (IFS), I can support your exploration of long-standing behavior patterns and perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Techniques I Use

  • Sensorimotor External link

I am a Level 1 Certified Sensorimotor Therapist. This approach allows clients to contact and engage their body in the emotional healing from trauma.

Issues I Treat

  • PTSD External link

I have been trained in supporting clients with trauma using a somatic approach called Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. This approach works with both the mind and the body to address the lasting affects caused by traumatic experiences.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I am an experienced couple's counselor who uses both Gottman approaches and Family Systems to help people navigate the challenges and joys of relationships.
