As a marriage, couple and family therapist I am trained to work with couples and I welcome all partnering arrangements (monogomous/open/polyamourous/ monogomous/heterosexual/same sex). I also specialize in sex therapy that is inclusive and non judgmental.
I have been trained in conflict resolution and mediation. I hold a BA in Peace and Conflict. Miscommunication is at the root of conflict. I can guide better communication and help resolve conflict you are experiencing in your life.
As a marriage couple and family therapist I am trained in family systems. Families are unique, how they are configured, family rules and expectations, family roles and family of origin. Each family goes through family life cycles. I approach family therapy systemically and consider all the systems and relationships the family is involved in.

Sexual abuse does not discriminate, it effects all people no matter their age, gender, ability, socio economic class, race, sexual orientation and or culture. You are not alone, someone else is at fault not you. As a volunteer Rape Victim Advocate with Multnomah District Attorney I have seen the many ways sexual abuse and sexual assault effects people and their lives.
Pregnancy has many different meanings depending on who you ask. Whether you are pregnant and you want to process your pregnancy and or your birth or choices, are post partem and are experiencing intrusive thoughts/anxiety/depression/ and or are recovering from a traumatic birth, or you a grieving the loss of a child from miscarriage. I welcome and encourage partners join if this works for you .
There is not one mold that makes a family. I welcome all configurations of families. I understand that each family is unique with its own set of rules and family roles. As a marriage, couple family therapist I have extensive training on family relationships and family life cycles.
I am sex-positive and specialize in sex therapy that is inclusive and non judgmental. Areas of focus are intimate relationships, pleasure, infidelity, sexual desire discrepancies, difficulties with orgasm, difficulties with erections and orgasm, lack of desire, pain and discomfort in sex, alternative sexualities and lifestyles, sexual abuse and violence.
We depend on one another, and each relationship requires maintainance and care. Although you may feel otherwise or heard otherwise there is nothing wrong with seeking support because relationships are challenging and each presents there own set of rules, negotiations, and conflicts. I can help you navigate your relationships.

Your body, identity, relationship and chemistry are just several changes that are occurring. You are amidst one of life's most spectacular miracles and transitions. Pregnancy holds many meanings and this group will provide a safe place to learn and share with other women. If you are trying to get pregnant, are pregnant or have welcomed your little one/s into the world please join us.
