My Ideal Client

I believe that personal healing, growth, and insight are informed by an individual’s relationship to meaning, values, death anxiety, freedom, and responsibility. My approach is existential and humanistic, working with clients collaboratively to individualize therapy, integrating a variety of interventions including narrative and cognitive-behavioral methods, and mindfulness practices.

My Approach to Helping

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space where trauma, uncertainty, and other challenges can be explored, and where paths to healing and resolution can be discovered. I specialize in working with bipolar disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My experience includes work with grief and bereavement, personality disorders, ADHD, substance use, and interpersonal relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value and affirm autonomy and diversity of experience including neurodiversity, LGBTQ, sex-work, and health at every size. I hold a master’s degree in counseling from Lewis & Clark College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Santa Cruz, and have many years experience working in residential and community mental health.
