My Approach to Helping

As a person-centered therapist, I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients freely explore thoughts and emotions. With empathy and acceptance, I empower clients to lead the process, fostering trust, insight, and self-discovery for personal growth. We will work on exploring negative patterns and thought processes and finding ways to reframe.

More About the People I Treat

Although I have an interest in working with many different populations, I have a special interest in combining my love of movement and my own history with chronic pain and working with patients going through similar obstacles. My theoretical orientation is person-centered which just means I prioritize the therapeutic environment. It is important for me that the space is empathetic, non-judgemental, and supportive. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I enjoy incorporating Cognitive Behavioral techniques and focusing on self-talk and the ways in which it manifests in ones life and impacts the view people have of themselves and the world around them.
