My Approach to Helping

I became a therapist because I believe that growth and change are possible. Whatever brings you here looking holds a bit of that truth already. I offer presence, warmth, and direct attention in sessions to help bring you back to yourself, where the seeds for growth already exist. I practice Gestalt therapy which is rooted in existentialism and finding ground in the present moment. I also rely on 10+ years of meditation practice, humor, authenticity, and passion for the gift of being alive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, my goal is to bring you into a deeper sense of belonging and compassion in your life. Therapy can open us to the realization that our vision of life has been dulled and limited by previous trauma and old stories. The goal in my work is to un-dull the vision, reopen possibility, and allow life to reveal itself anew.
