My Ideal Client

Whether you're a human who's struggling with anxiety, trying to make sure everyone around you is happy (usually at the cost of your own happiness), highly sensitive, neurodivergent, an empath, a perfectionist, or just a human seeking more compassion and connection, I'm glad you're here. I know firsthand what it's like to be a sensitive and/or introspective soul living in a society that seems hellbent on toughness and tuning out. It is possible to heal through compassion, joy, and curiosity.

My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic style is relational, nurturing, and experiential, with a dash of humor and a sprinkling of science-enthusiasm. I seek to be my genuine, human self and to provide a truly nonjudgmental space where you can feel free to discover and be wholly, authentically you. My therapy philosophy is grounded in compassion, relational neuroscience, understanding our contexts, and noticing the strengths that have helped you get to this moment. Some of my favorite tools in the therapy toolbox are narrative therapy, parts work, and being in nature. I like to offer practical skill-building tools like mindfulness, meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and somatic or body-based regulation techniques to help you connect your mind & body so that you know how to find equanimity through whatever situation. Our work together can look like traditional talk therapy, walk and talk (outside) therapy, or can include explorations of meditation and what spirituality means to you. It's your journey!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in compassion: We are all doing the best we can with what we’ve got at any given moment. True, long-lasting change is rooted in compassion for ourselves and others. I believe in curiosity: We make sense! There are SO many reasons for why we do the things we do and how we do them. Curiosity helps us investigate ourselves without judgment. I believe in patience: Healing is not often linear, and meaningful change takes time and repeated effort. I believe in holistic wellness: Honoring all parts of our experience, and connecting into something larger than ourselves (through nature, meditation, spirituality, religion, etc.) is essential to our wellbeing. I believe in identity-affirming care, even as we explore ideas of interconnectedness. I believe in cultural humility, human dignity, and cultivating a safe and sacred space for healing, connection, and transformation for all. Therapy + meditation is what helped me remember my wholeness- let's help you remember yours.
