NT addresses the stories we tell ourselves about how various difficulties impact our lives. By retelling these stories, we can overcome those that control our lives in negative ways. As you share your story (goals, needs, and hopes) with me, we will consider your emotional, behavioral and spiritual life as well as the environment that surrounds you.
Wonderful way engage youth, adults, and families using a collaborative approach to help find the ambivalence to a behavior that one wants to change. I embrace the ideas of self-efficacy and optimism and practice MI regularly.
CBT is based on the idea that how we think strongly influences how we feel and behave. It assumes that we can change the way we think, feel and behave with practice. I enjoy implementing CBT into my practice and have found it very beneficial with the youth, families, and individuals I have been fortunate to work with.

My practice is dedicated to empowering women and girls live more confident, authentic and fulfilled lives. There is a powerful connection for women of what we face in our work, family, and personal lives while we strive to be healthy enough to maintain all our roles.
With over 18 years of experience of working with adolescents in schools and community settings, I enjoy the turbulence, independence, emotions, life challenges, peer and family relationship struggles that the adolescent years bring. I enjoy working individually with the youth and engage the family to support the youth.
Life Transitions occur more often than is brought to our awareness. It is until we slow down, we can then see, feel, and acknowledge what is going on around and within us. Therapy can help make sense of all of this and help you through the life adjustments.
The physical and mental sensations that anxiety brings with uncertainty and fearfulness can be overwhelming and unmanageable. I welcome the opportunity to work with you to develop tools for stress management and mindfulness practices while exploring your thoughts, feeling, and behaviors.
Therapy may help you recognize things that may be contributing to the depression you feel and help you develop a plan to change behaviors and beliefs that may interfere with your optimal health. I enjoy working collaboratively to improve quality of life in mental, physical, emotional, work, family, and personal spheres.
