My Ideal Client

Difficult experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and stuck. At the same time, some of our biggest opportunities for growth and change can emerge from our darkest chapters. I love working with clients who march to the beat of their own drum and strive to create a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and secure. I'm passionate about working with those who want to discover a greater sense of empowerment, self-compassion, and connection.

My Approach to Helping

I provide a safe, open, and stable therapeutic environment where you're able to process and move through your concerns with the companionship of a neutral and experienced counselor. I recognize that an authentic and fulfilling life looks different for everyone and I hope to honor that in our work together. I aim to make therapy a collaborative space that highlights your strengths and embraces curiosity about the social and cultural context of your experiences. I am LGBTQ+ affirming as well as supportive of traditional and non-traditional relationship structures. As an integrative psychotherapist, I personally tailor various evidence-based treatment modalities to fit the unique needs of each individual. I have training and clinical experience in Narrative Therapy, EFT, EMDR, Behavioral Therapy (CBT & DBT), Sex Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I offer a free and confidential 15-minute phone consultation for prospective clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a multiethnic therapist, I understand that identity can be nuanced and useful to explore within yourself and your relationships. I find value in understanding how past experiences with caretakers, family, friends, and romantic partners impact your current relationships and your sense of self. I also enjoy helping clients process the impact that religion or spirituality has had on their past and determine what they want that relationship to look like moving forward. My own experiences with ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and religion have inspired my work as a therapist. I believe that self-discovery is an ongoing process and I'm grateful to be able to learn and grow alongside my clients. When I'm not working, I'm passionate about practicing self-care through therapy, meditation, making music and art, exploring nature with my dog, and deepening my relationships with my loved ones.
