My Ideal Client

I believe that people are resilient. I am passionate about empowering individuals to tap into their strength while honoring the very real challenges that have brought them to seek change. My mission is to help you live your most authentic life through self-exploration, healing past wounds, and ultimately coming into alignment with your core self.

My Approach to Helping

I combine Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotion Focused Therapy to customize the healing process for each client. I believe that we all have different parts within us that hold their own, and sometimes conflicting, needs, wants, beliefs, and feelings. Each part of you deserves to be seen, to be heard, and to be understood. I also use trauma-informed care to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for us to explore anything you wish to bring into the room.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Bushnell University in Eugene, Oregon. I am currently working towards my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. I have 5+ years of experience working with neurodivergent populations and caregivers of neurodivergent children. I have an educational background and experience in trauma, disordered eating, attachment styles, body image, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, inner child work, and self-esteem/self-worth and I am always seeking to further my training in these areas. I was born and raised in Washington, now living in Oregon, and am a PNW gal through and through. I enjoy trail runs, hiking, soccer, yoga, and travel when the sun is out and being curled up with my cat and a good book when it is not.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • ADHD External link

Your neurodivergence is a part of who you are. I have 5+ years working with people who are neurodivergent (ADHD/Autism). I can work with you to process a diagnosis, explore what your neurodivergence means to you, manage symptoms, or just provide a safe place for you to be understood as we work together. Your neurodivergence can be as much or as little of the topic of conversation as you would like. It is important to have a counselor who understands and accepts YOU, for exactly as you are.
