I believe everyone has innate brilliance and, with support, can address whatever barrier is getting in the way of the life they want to lead. I work with a diverse population and welcome everyone.
I have led peer groups focused on developing skills to address the barriers schizophrenia symptoms can create, I am a Peer Trainer at NAMI, and, in the past, been the Clinical Supervisor of a SPMI residential treatment home.
I founded a nonprofit in Eugene, OR, NextStep Recycling, that focuses on developing individual social and job skills for those who have had no job experience, are underemployed or unemployed. I believe we all hold brilliance and with support, can discover and achieve our education and vocational goals. I have applied my own life experiences to consulting/therapy with individuals who are on the autism spectrum.
I have had extensive training and experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma/PTSD.
I use CBT for anxiety and other modalities to support clients to center and calm themselves.
