My Ideal Client

In sessions, we explore both talk therapy as well as body-based approaches in your healing journey. I am excited to incorporate yoga principles and practices into her sessions. I often include nature-based techniques as a form of teaching and healing. I have recently completed the Integrative Trauma Coach Training, with a focus on body-based trauma-informed practice using somatic therapy, mindfulness/meditation and breathwork.

My Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and received my MSW from George Mason University and have extensive experience working with adults, families and youth in the Washington D.C. area, Arizona and Oregon. In recent years, I have focused on adults experiencing life changes such as empty nesting, divorce, career changes, retirement, caring for a family member, loss/grief, and supporting professionals in the social work profession. I provide supervision to those seeking licensure and I am a RYT 200-hour yoga teacher.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My approach is to provide a safe space for individuals to process their feelings, own what is theirs, and release limiting beliefs about themselves. It is my belief that everyone has the answers within themselves and the role of therapy is to support individuals on their own unique journey. It is equally as important for a therapist to have a strong commitment to their own growth in order to show up and be present for others.
