My Approach

I am committed to following the guidelines to protect our health during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am able to do telehealth sessions. I use a variety of techniques depending on your needs. Feeling safe and secure are the most important indicators of positive therapy outcomes. Starting with that as our foundation, therapeutic techniques such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems, ACT, and solution focused will provide added support to the therapeutic process.

My Background

I studied Counseling Psychology at Lewis and Clark College and after that received training in Addictions Treatment, EMDR, trauma, Internal Family Systems. I also taught at Lewis and Clark College and became an LPC supervisor. I was also the co-Clinical Director for A Home Within, a volunteer program for counselors to help kids in the foster care system. I have studied yoga and meditation for several decades.
