My Approach

I aim to help parents and their children become an effective team so they can succeed in home, school, and social environments. I work with families who would like to: • Develop cooperative interactions with their children • Decrease their children’s challenging behaviors • Prevent disruptive patterns of behavior from developing • Decrease household anxiety • Find and maintain boundaries around screen time and electronics. I view therapy as an active and collaborative processes. I take an eclectic approach, utilizing principles from motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, and social learning theory.

My Background
