I specialize in working with those who tend to shut down or look for quick comfort when facing the stress and challenges of life. I help my clients understand themselves and learn new coping skills that help them feel healthier and more confident. Also, I have specialized training to work with the Veteran, active duty Military, LGBTQIA+, polymerous, and ethical non-monogamy persons.
I am a Veteran and have deployment experience as a civilian. I am completed Tier I, II, and III of the Start Behavioral Health program created by the Uniformed Service University and Center for Deployment Psychology. Also, I have complete various trainings to include Suicide interventions, trauma-informed care, PTSD counseling, Military Sexual Trauma and Military Couples Counseling.
I am a member of this community and have completed various trainings to include Queer and non-binary counseling, Trans counseling, LBGTQ+ affirming counseling practices, trans health barriers, suicide interventions, and trauma-informed care practices.
