My Ideal Client

I provide affirming sex and relationship therapy for partners who are 21+ and identify as queer, gender-expansive, kinky, and/or non-monogamous. Common areas of focus include identity development related to gender, sexuality, and relationship structures; exploration of kink and BDSM; navigating non-monogamy; addressing communication difficulties arising from chronic misattunement; and tending to the impact of relational and sexual trauma.

My Background

I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. My graduate research focused on exploring psychologists’ cultural competence in working with clients engaged in kink/BDSM. I have completed 200+ hours of additional training in the Holistic Sex Therapy training program through the Institute for Sexuality Education & Enlightenment.

My Approach to Helping

I take a sex-positive, trauma-informed, and liberation-centered approach to mental and sexual health. I affirm all consensual sexual expression while honoring asexual and aromatic identities. My goal is to create a space that challenges shame, resists pathologization, and empowers clients to embrace their authentic selves, desires, and sexual agency.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Attachment Theory External link

I integrate attachment theory into sex and relationship therapy to support clients in making sense of how past experiences—especially in early relationships—can influence how we connect, communicate, and experience intimacy today.

  • Feminist External link

Grounded in feminist theory, I’m especially passionate about supporting those who are erotically marginalized—including queer, trans, kinky, polyamorous, disabled folx, and sex workers whose desires or identities fall outside of mainstream norms. In our work together, we can explore the ways culture, power, and oppression shape our access to pleasure, safety, and sexual self-expression.

  • Relational  External link

Drawing from relational-cultural therapy, I focus on healing through connection. Trauma and shame often thrive in isolation, especially around sex and intimacy. Together, we can work to rebuild trust—in yourself and in your relationships—by fostering mutuality, emotional safety, and meaningful connection.
