My Ideal Client

I provide affirming sex & relationship therapy for clients 21+. I work with clients of all identities on communication skills, sexual & relational trauma, consent, desire differences, painful sex (e.g., GPPPD), & enhancing desire, arousal, & pleasure. I specialize in working with queer, gender expansive, kinky, & non-monogamous clients. Areas of clinical specialty include identity development, kink/BDSM exploration, & navigation of non-monogamy.

My Background

I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology & my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. My graduate research focused on exploring psychologists’ self-perceived cultural competence in working with kinky clients. I have completed 200+ hours of additional training in the Holistic Sex Therapy training program through the Institute for Sexuality Education & Enlightenment.

My Approach to Helping

I take a sex-positive, trauma-informed, & liberation-centered approach to mental & sexual health. I affirm all consensual sexual expression while honoring asexual and aromatic identities. My goal is to create a space that challenges shame, resists pathologization, & empowers clients to embrace their authentic selves, desires, & sexual agency.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Attachment Theory External link

I integrate attachment theory into sex & relationship therapy to support clients in making sense of how past experiences—especially in early relationships—can influence how we connect, communicate, & experience intimacy today.

  • Feminist External link

I work with people who’ve been made to feel like their desires, identities, or relationships don’t fit the mold—queer, trans, kinky, polyamorous, disabled, sex workers, & those who’ve never felt seen in traditional spaces. If parts of you have been shamed or pushed aside, you deserve a space where all of you is welcome. Grounded in feminist theory, we’ll explore how culture, power, & lived experience shape your relationship with pleasure, safety, & self-expression.

  • Relational  External link

Drawing from relational-cultural therapy, I focus on healing through connection. Trauma & shame often thrive in isolation, especially around sex & intimacy. Together, we can work to rebuild trust—in yourself & in your relationships—by fostering mutuality, authenticity, emotional safety, & meaningful connection.
