My Ideal Client

I identify as queer and have a passion for working with others in the community. I work with identity concerns, trauma, and relational wounds. I also specialize in those who are coping with the effects of being raised in strict religious households and those raised by caregivers who have struggled with mental health issues and addiction. I am passionate about equity, and I recognize the realities, intricacies, and impacts of oppression, and marginalization on everyday life.

My Approach to Helping

My goal is to attend to you or the relationship with consideration, curiosity, kindness, and empathy. This journey looks different for each person, couple(s), and relationship structures as we are all unique in our experiences and development. I will meet you where you are as we begin a journey toward your own personal evolution, whatever that may be. I draw from several theoretical modalities based upon my clients’ needs, primarily working from a humanistic and person-centered stance. My clinical approach continually draws from a Trauma Informed lens utilizing Emotion Focused, Attachment Models, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Interpersonal Neurobiology practices. In our sessions, we will explore your past and present experiences to inform the process of self-discovery and growth.
