My Ideal Client

I work with individuals and couples facing tough life transitions, exploring identity, strengthening self confidence, processing sexuality and intimacy, seeking to address attachment insecurities, and navigating the complexities of intercultural and multicultural relationships. I’m here to offer my support, new insights, and gentle nudges as you grow.

My Background and Approach

I view individuals as resilient embodied beings with rich and complex histories where mind and body and soul are all interconnected. I believe that oftentimes, our bodies store and convey emotions and traumas before we even are mindfully aware of them. The body communicates beyond the verbal, and I hope to provide a comfortable space in order to listen and attune to your body and your experiences. I view therapy as a collaborative space where you can process past experiences, discover and nurture your needs in the present, and explore new ways of being and relating. Whatever you’re facing, seeking help and dedicating the time and space to better understand yourself or improve your relationship is healing and growing in itself. It takes courage to take that first step towards healing and navigating life’s messiness, and I’m so glad you're here.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first generation college graduate and woman of color, I have deep personal experience navigating confusing systems and figuring out myself how to get the help I needed. My heart and passion for helping people stemmed from scanning various counseling spaces and systems and not seeing anyone who looked like me. In a time when I deeply needed help, I could not find someone who looked like they could relate to my story or know of my lived experiences. This lack spurred me to pursue counseling and make my practice one of acceptance, empathy, and healing. I believe processing and healing is a relational and collaborative effort, where together we can work to build resilience and help you find your voice and strength to navigate whatever life may come your way. If you, too, have been feeling this lack of support or representation, I invite you to reach out and schedule a free meet and greet to see if we'd make a good fit. It would be an honor to walk this journey alongside you!
