My Approach to Helping

Pleased to offer EMDR services as an EMDR Trained Clinician. I strive to create a warm, safe, and accepting environment where you can truly come as you are. I find that sometimes the best medicine is a bit of laughter and understanding that we are all humans in progress. I believe the client is the expert and already has everything they need to heal move forward inside themselves. Sometimes, we all need a little help to get unstuck, to see things from a new perspective, and to take a breath and realize how far we have come. In our work together, we will use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and EMDR focusing on your strengths, bringing an awareness to how our body holds trauma, and utilize a variety of tools to create real change and bring healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy is deep, life changing work, and it is a privilege to be able to walk with someone on their journey towards healing. My passion is working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, survivors of sexual assault, and loss and grief. My primary focus is individuals ages 14 and older. I am able to accept OHP insurance and can provide Superbills for the client to then submit to their insurance company. I strongly believe that counseling should be financially accessible to all, please feel free to ask about my sliding scale option. Please reach out to see if we would be a good fit.
