I have direct experience working with folks who experience oppression and marginalization, especially queer and trans folks, rural populations, and folks who live below the poverty line. My approach focuses on exploring the impact of oppression on mental health.
I work with folks in all phases of drug and alcohol addiction and recovery.
I identify as queer, and I have direct experience working with LGBTQ+ teens and adults. My work focuses on queer sex-drug linked behavior; the impact of heterosexism and transphobia on mental health; and the impact of systemic oppression on mental health for queer and trans folks.
I have direct experience working with gender expansive teens and adults. My work focuses on deconstructing social constructs around gender; exploring gender identity; finding voice and empowerment; and writing assessment letters for gender-affirming health care.
I have direct experience working with folks with PTSD from historical trauma, systems trauma, and trauma from oppression.
